whats going on with me computor....... everypage is taking ages to load, taskbar thing is thinking about it but hardley moving, half a page is displayed, http........ thingy is waiting for page to down load, youtube and other video sites take f========king ages...
I've flushed me cache, deleted me temp files ,checked my ram free space,deleted cookies ,and re set to an earlier date :blagblah:blagblah, what else can I do.......or is it the net connection/supplier thats f****ng me up.
any ideas / pointers.......please.

I do have a large stash of unused fireworks in the shed, that will be rammed into this f****ing thing if it don't sort itself out. :pullface

You sure it's not your RAM being used up? Check the available on the physical not the virtual.... Only time I have seen behaviour like that is when the memory has run out...:Motomartin
 
Have you loaded any new software prior to this happening?. If not have a look at what is running in the background. Start task manager, and see what memory usage is going on, if you are using too mush memory the machine could be using HDD as memory and that could slow it down.
Also look at cleaning out your browsing history.
 
run a speedtest on your connection. then you'll know if it's your pc or the line that's at fault.

as all the things you list being slow are connection dependant, my money's on the line :)

Done the speed test thing ....
Ping=39 ms
download=6.43mbps
upload=0.96mbps

That looks pretty normal.

The symptoms you describe sound like my old PC. I got extra RAM from Crucial ITS and it sorted it for a while, but modern web browsing seems to require huge RAm, as most pages have content going on all over the place.

May be time to bite the bullet and get a new PC unless your PC has room for expansion.

There out of stock at the mo' but it's bloody quick with 6 processors !!:eek
