Has anyone tried the stainless steel Beowulf exhaust cans on their 1200GS with removable baffles. They are sold with a lifetime guarantee.

Are they any good?

There was a very similar thread on here a few months ago, the person ended up buying them and liked them very much (he also posted pictures). Here is the link (thanks to search):

To be honest, if the end can doesn't contribute much to the performance, only the noise and look of the bike, then you can't go wrong with any you like the look of. Especially with a lifetime warranty.

Needless to say, I've been toying with the idea of doing this aswell. Let us all know what you think.

I have already fitted a pre-owned Motad cat free collector, which with the Beowulf can might liberate another 5 or 6 bhp from the mid-range through to the top end, and save a kilo or two in the weight department. The whole system has cost me £270.00, which is well under the cost of most after market cans.

I have fitted a remus de-cat that cost me (430 euros). However i do not want to spent another 500 euros for a Remus Hexacone carbon slip on. I will take my chances with beowulf. I sent them an email and asked them for a carbon warrior can.
Off topic. Today i 've fitted a K&N filter and a power commander with the appropriate map. This set up trully made a significant change on the low-med revs (i didn't have the chance to test high revs yet).

Now installed, with one of the two clamps supplied, and my own bracket. Two brackets is over the top IMO. The only issue is the plate rest for the centre stand did not line up, so I extended it to suit, not pretty but it works.

The can is nice and gruff sounding with the baffel in. I may take the baffel out to see how it sounds.

The can looks good, you`ll get a deeper sound but you`ll get no more power. The removal of the cat from the headers is where the bhp and midrange are liberated.
