I had a pair of their tri-ovals on my Diversion 900. Lovely but on that just a bit too boomy. Universal baffles sorted it.

If it needs calming down, try a baffle smaller than the outlet and fit it with spacer washers under the fixing bolt. It's less restrictive that way but still keeps the neighbours happy.

a couple of questions if i may ........... what year is your bike, is it a cam head and is it quieter than the oem silencer. id like to tone down he noise of mine without spending to much money.

With a baffle that fills the outlet I'm sure the Beowulf would be quiet but it would also be badly bunged up. My method with a smaller diameter baffle is one option. Or you could wait for one of these to turn up in the for sale section. Then fit a full baffle into one can and a less restrictive baffle or even nothing into the other can.

Contrary to the adverts, they do fit the 1200 Adventure even with standard side case frames. You simply need to remove the captive nuts at the carrier frame footrest mount and use button head bolts and dome nuts.

Poor thing needed a wash but you'll get the idea.

buy a second hand full exhaust system from pre 2010 G.S. with out flappy valve disconnect cables from servo and cover holes to keep out muck much quieter and fits straight on good luck

last post was for bloke who wanted quieter exhaust I have fitted remus headers from pre 2009 and akraprovic end can sounds very fruity of course we have no M.O.T. in isle of man and very understanding gendamerie

The Remus Hexacone can has a nice sound not too loud but not a wimpy rustle either. The Remus stainless headers seem to go a nice yellow colour rather than the dull grey that most systems end up looking.

Hi Guys,
For what it's worth...
I fitted a standard aluminium Beowulf can to my 2006 (56) GS. It sounded great (with baffle in), with a lovely 'burble' on overrun. It was on 30,000 miles and always cleaned up nicely.
The best bit, I swapped my bike for a TC this year and after a quick call to those (very helpful) people at Beowulf, they sold me the later link pipe for £ 35.00 and I've fitted the exhaust to my new ride.
4,000 miles later and I intend to keep it on for the next 30,000.
The pipes are well made and the service is great. Very good products for the money.
....and no I don't have any association with them....

I just splashed the cash on Beowulf exhaust. Went for the oval one in black. Customer service i'd rate highly, and the delivery was rapid. I was a bit miffed to discover that the pipe on the silencer was round, and the link pipe was oval. So had to rubber hammer that to fit snuggly. As one of the pictures above shows, it comes with a hanging bracket designed for two straps, but only one strap. I spent a bit extra on a length of aluminium to fashion my own bracket.

Despite that, once it was all fitted and I got the bike started, I was very pleased. Makes a nice grunty sound without being toooooooo antisocial. Plus you get some lovely pops out of it when you ease off and slow the bike down with the gears. Here's some pics.

I could have asked for another strap. However you can see from the pics that with the original bracket i've got it in it as fully raised as I can in order for the exhaust port not to be firing into the luggage rack. Making the custom hanging bracket also allowed me to perfectly tailor it to my bike.

what length of can is it........ 380mm or 450 mm.
