Beowulf exhausts

Does anyone have any recent experience with these? Just interested at the moment, but they do seem a lot cheaper than other makes and are British
Keep thinking that the original silencer is a big lump - sounds OK though, also not that interested in extra power - but less weight might be nice.

I have a pair of triangle section Beowulf cans on my Diversion 900. Out of the box the bike felt quicker, but they were LOUD and very boomy at lower revs. I removed the original "baffles" and fitted dB killers. They now sound great.

Has anyone fitted a pair of small cans to a GS that would allow the luggage cases to sit closer to the back wheel?

Had one on my last GS.... Sounded great, didnt care about the weight, the mounting bracket is a bit cheap and nasty, don't know what it did for performance. Without the baffle it was a bit loud...

If you don't care for huge performance issues, and don't want to pay for a Remus or Akro logo, then go for it...

I had the Beowulf can on my F8GS. Huge weight saving over the standard unit and looks far better. The can also runs much cooler. The original F8 can holds heat far too long for my liking, long after the ride has finished.
Performance benefits, forget it. There is no real noticeable difference, though the extra noise may help you to 'feel' it has improved performance.

For style, practicality,weight saving, size, price and sound I think it's a no brainer first choice.

I had beowulf on my tenere 660. Stood up to a full brit winter and sounded like a single cylinder should.

This is the one I put on my GSA..............

Yup - got one - looks good and sounds fine. Little noisier without the baffle and it will sometimes stall. Behaves well with the baffle in. Loads lighter but can't comment on any performance gains as I am not a riding god.
I would recommend it but haven't had it through a winter yet.

Had one on my 12 GS sounded great with baffle in. No probs at all
