Any SLK owners out there?

I have just changed my SLK for a C Class and I had this six piece bespoke luggage set made by Colin Surman of Bag World who has appeared on TV many times making car luggage for Drew Pritchard of Restoring Classic cars amongst others.

It is designed to fit under the shelf when the roof is down and it makes maximum use of the available space. It consists of four large bags and two smaller bags; one of the smaller bags is insulated for storing food, the other can be used for toiletries or whatever. One of the large bags has a padded section for a laptop. The whole set is very versatile has lovely red diamond stitching and hard feet on the bottom, it all looks very classy. If you own an SLK you know how limited the luggage space is when the roof is down and this is perfect for utilising all the space available. They are beautifully made by a craftsman with plush linings and top class fittings.

All the bags are in as new condition; I paid £650 for them and am asking £400 plus postage. Would prefer collection if possible but I do have a large box I could post them in but bear in mind shipping costs are based on dimensions as well as weight.

They look lovely. When you consider the price of luggage they appear to be a bargain. Id almost wager that the buyer won’t be the owner of an slk. Just someone who appreciates quality. JJH

A pedant asks, do the boot sizes/shapes differ in the SLK? I had the R171 (2 actually over the years) but have no idea about the later versions. So would these fit any SLK (or the later SLC thing)?

Hi Tosh, my SLK was a 2013 so the R172 version, I have no idea if the boot size is the same as the R171. Maybe a bit of research would throw up the answer.
