my scanner has gone - phut ! - possibly voltage spiked ?

anyway - whats the best VFM printer/scanner/copier - low home usage only.

thinking of a canon ( i've got a canon digicam ) - but doesn't the refills cost fortunes ?

any advice on ongoing costs as well ?

Just bought an Epson RX620 - awesome piece of kit, cheap refills and a built in card reader. Highly recommended

Ditto Epson because of the ready availability (in the UK, but I assume also Australia) of compatible cartridges.

I have a CX3600 - right at the bottom of the range - and I am very pleased with it.

HP psc 1215

I've got a HP psc 1215.

Very cheap, seems to work well.

The most usefull feature is that it can scan documents & pictures into Adobe PDF format. Very handy if you want to email documents.

Maybe they all do that ?
