Mine has to be either:

Stubby pipe to replace the silencer.

Or Muffs.

extra lights were a belter, been fitted so long, i nearly forgot how dire the GS lights are.

i remember the Salesman at SPC Poo pooing my comment about the lights being poor, he said he never had any problems riding country roads at night:jes:toungincheek

Best bit of bling - a Zumo/Autocom set. It gets me to places with little hassle, via interesting routes (set it to shortest route, not fastest) and I can listen to music/books/plays when dealing with dual carriageways and motorways.

rugged roads rear rack extension....allows my tent to fit perfick loike!

Home made adjustable fat pegs, for that sure footed reassurance. I was simply amazed by the extra control I had through the pegs on and off road.:D

Plus my caja's, it's like having a bike with a car boot.

No bling on my bike, thats assuming by 'Bling' you mean useless rubbish that may look pretty but adds nothing but in many cases just increases the bikes vulnerability to damage. None whatsoever.

I have 'replaced' a few things that were either worn or make the bike more rideable and/or practical for my purposes. but that isn't 'Bling' That's just normal practice for a bike that's now 10yrs old.

Apart from that, My policy has been to remove stuff, rather than add.

Just thought.. the only items I have added to my bike that wasn't strictly necessary. Stainless steel 'polished' bar end weights. And a pair of fuel tank 'knee rubbers' - that's it. :thumb

Best bit... Aeroflow screen and the leg shields (£125 eBay:D)

The rest: Remus inc collector, Airhawk, T/box, R1100R pegs (lower), RT LH pannier, KLT bars, extra cig socket, etc, etc... all for as little as poss... probably not even £350 and from a "bling" free supplier:D

I agree about the Rugged Roads rack extension. I would also suggest 'Grip Puppies' make a full day more comfortable.
Cheers . Alan

they weren't bling to start with.. they're an essential bit of kit for all us engine-bar phobics.

thats been "blingified" by whatevers been used to coat it... moreso as they're fitted in ADDITION to a nasty set of engine bars.

They've been polished - and it isn't my bike in the picture. :D

I have only have headguards fitted.

Glad to see you're back in production, Steptoe. Was begining to wonder whether I should be fitting tamper proof fasteners for mine.
Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?!

Best bit

HID lights, TT panniers, Corbin seat, very useful top box.
