Hi All, any suggestions as to a good bike cover for my GS? Unfortunately it has to be stored outside in all weathers. It does benefit from being in a relatively sheltered rear garden though. Need something that will last and protect against all the usual elements.( Or unusual ones for that matter!)

Moving from s6 house with a garage to one without this weekend. Keen on this thread. Wondering if the wunderlich is still #1 or worth the big tag.

I’v had a Wunderlich for 4 years now, and it’s just started to crack in a couple of places. The bike stays outside, in blistering heat in temperatures ranging from 7c to 38c. But when it rains here, it’s monsoon type rain. The Wunderlich has been faultless throughout. Still number one for me.

Don't buy an Oxford Stormex - mines less than a year old and the tapes are peeling.

I’ve got an M&P own brand for use when I am in the bike away for work, it’s 5 years old now and still going strong, unbranded generic blue and grey and a bit scruffy.

It was about £15 for the XXL version, and imho a posh cover means posh bike and attracts attention.

As this is in your back garden, why not look at something like a Bike Barn for the convenience factor?

I have one of these for sale as I don't have my GS anymore. It is about 1 year old and has only every been used inside my garage. If interested send me a pm - I'd take £55 for it including courier delivery. It's nice thick fabric with a fleecy finish on the inside so no scratching.

Dam!!! There not too bad

They only show 1250gsa but I assume it’s the same as the 1200gsa

Just bought the same great cover also covers box and panniers,

I 've purchased the wunderlich cover, just waiting for it to arrive. It's been raining all day of course! .

Its been a few years since I had a bike under a cover in a back garden, but when I did, I covered the nice cover, with a shitty old green tarp cover. That took the abuse, the weather, the bird shit etc etc, and in the unlikely event that the garden got an intruder, it looked as though whatever lay underneath would have been a pile of shite and not worth investigating ...

If it was a GS they would be right.

I found this one while in the shed the other day so I'm using this for a few weeks while debating the Wunderlic. I bought it after a similar thread on here before. No idea what it's like yet as it's only been a day but iirc it was about £20-25 and it is a size L with a GSA underneath.

New Wunderlich bike cover arrived yesterday, looks and feels like the real McCoy! Time will tell. Thinking of using a lightweight ratchet strap to hold it in place along with the tie loops at the bottom.

Pop up a pic of the cover on the bike please. Would like to compare and a real world pic would help a lot.
