Good news, my new bike is arriving next week, I want to keep as much of the crud off the motor from day one. The new sooper-dooper Machine Art Avant fender extender will not be available until mid August.
Is there another make of fender extender that is really effective, if not do I go with the crud catcher, and will it keep all of the front cover clean.
I roda a rent GS-LC in Austria last week and the front engine case was very corroded quite high up from the crud that has splashed up, it was not cleanable with a power washer as it was actual bad corrosion on a 10k miles bike...shame!
