best deal anyone has had for Rt LC

Just wondering what is the best deal anyone has had on buying a new RT ? my nearest dealer, Harry Fairbairn in Inverness is a waste of time. The bike salesman (Ivor) has gone off sick and the replacement doesn't know his arse from his elbow.

I asked him about the new RS and he told me to talk to Ivor when he gets back in June or July.

So I'm left with either John Clark 140 miles trip or Motorrad Central 180 mile trip each way, as talking to them on the phone is a waste of time.

I walked in with 24 tops from the boxes of Kellogg's cornflakes, and rode out on my RT.

I may have given them a few 50p's from the gas meter, but I'm sure they said I could keep the demo bike as long as I needed to learn if it was right for me. That was in October.

what is the best deal anyone has had on buying a new RT ?

Don't know about the best deal, but the one I was offered and excepted was from Rainbow (100 miles round trip and not my nearest dealer) bike was delivered to my home address
Phone round you don't need to see the bike if its a new one and get it delivered
Post what you get offered

In Rainbow last Saturday for service, only one new RT and one used RT LC, but lots and lots GS

I ordered soon stuff from John Clarke (not a bike ) and the service was absolutely superb including them pointing out their Web price was wrong but were honouring it.

I have a lovely RT-LC in 'Ebony' surplus to my requirements if you are interested, it's fully spec'd with all of the toys apart from the radio.

It is a September 2014 bike (2015 model). It cost just under £17,000 7 months ago, I be happy to sell it for £13500.00

It is mint - 1800 miles.

Lovely bike, but I just prefer riding my GS-LC.

There are plenty of lightly used around, the recall ones are approx. £12.5k which seems a decent deal and I am sure you can haggle a bit. I am very lazily looking but trying to convince myself that I don't really need one....
