I,m thinking of trading my nc700x in for a new gs. Any advice on who to deal with or if i should wait until the 1250. comes out would be gratefully received.
cheers, jim.

Best advice is to email as many dealers as you can with what spec you want and details of your part-ex, most will deal via email/phone and those that don't have lost a potential sale

I've found that even factoring in travel costs it's often far cheaper to buy further afield than your nearest dealers

As for the new water cooled model, who knows?

One things certain, you'll get bugger all discount on one of them for a while

If you go for the current model which I did a few months ago you will get a cracking deal as the new model is around the corner

...and don't forget that just because a (Main) dealer may not have what you're after it doesn't mean he can't get it.
When I bought my GS the salesmen went through a spec listing of available bikes that he could bring in from their 'holding' contacts. There are holdings in the UK for most manufacturers and it just takes a phone call from the dealer to their respective holders, agree an exchange with the spec you want (if available) for one of their current unsold showroom bikes and an exchange day before the bike of your choice gets shipped to the dealer you agree to buy from.

cheers JayC, advice taken.

I got a deal from cannons Braintree in Essex, I think they have about 4 triple blacks left and two rallyes.

& see if you can get the £1000 bmw finance contribution and then cancel the finance for an extra £1k off!

Someone in the 700/800 sections is thinking of buying an NC700x - why don't you get in toch with him?

BTW why don't you like the Honda?
