Fitted these last week. Just did 250 miles on them. The verdict so far is. Love them. I've only been on road so far and will not do anything gnarly enough off road to worry about tyres I reckon.

Riding out of the tyre fitters I though 'oh, what have I done'. They obviously need scrubbing in, but off the bat, they felt very different. A bit wobbly and a rough ride. Like you're feeling the knobles. Started very gingerly.

Rode the bike to Suffolk and back. Back lanes in the dry. All good! I felt happy to lean the bike over as much as with road tyres. I now feel confidence in them and that I don't need to adjust my riding (in the dry).

What they are like in the wet remains to be seen. I don't like riding in the wet anyway. But I read online, this is where they do fall down. Will update on that when it rains!

Road noise. Strangely very noisy at 40mph. But on the motorway, with wind noise and my earplugs in, they are not an issue. I guess you also just get use to how the bike is. I'm not bothered by anything regarding these tyres 250 miles in.

They are great gravel tyres, but my rear one developed cracks in it. The front was fine. I would be interested to hear if yours or anyone else's do - I fancy them again for the next trip, I think they last better than the Heidenaus (very similat tyre) I'm using on the current one.

Early days for me @ThreeDawg but I will keep an eye on them. I did read (when researching which tyres to get) that the Motoz last a lot longer than nearly all the other 50/50 tyres.

Why fit 50:50 tyres if you're only riding on road ??

It doesn't make sense to sacrifice so much grip and control on the actual surface you ride on, if you aren't going to take the big girl on the trails.

But yeah. They do look cool :)

:)Yes, apart from the hugely important fact that they look cool! I will be taking it on some light trails. Planning Wales before Xmas. Fire roads etc. But nothing too crazy. So these tyres should be good.

Fair enough. It would be madness to fit them to a tarmac only bike. Unless you enjoy 50% less traction for no reason :P

He bought them as they were cheap.

Just been out for the first time on my new to me 1200LC fitted with Motoz Tractionator GPS tyres. 1/4 mile down the road, not too cold, bit greasy, third gear circa 3000 revs. Rear let go several times on a gentle throttle. Surprised given I wasn’t giving it any beans, carried on and the same happened again. Short ride ensued taken very gingerly. Plenty of tread but they’re going straight in the bin first chance I get. Why anyone would want to ride with these on is beyond me

I had mine fitted in summer and I had the same on that very first ride. Brand new shiny rubber. They need scrubbing in. Give them a few hundred miles and see how they feel.
