There is a lot to be said for jumping on a bike early Sunday morning. Going for a run that ends up a perfect spot for breakfast. I am thinking of a breakfast that would cause your cardiologist to have a sleepless night but is acceptable in moderation.

Top of my list is The Wicklow Heather, Laragh, Co.Wicklow.

And judging from the carpark, I'm not the only one who thinks so. Anyone have any suggestions?

Go on another 10 - 15 minutes and go to The Glenmalure Lodge, Glenmalure. Stunning scenery and fantastic food and the staff are good for a bit of craic!!!

The Grange Kitchen on the far side of Roundwood (towards Bray) has without a shadow of a doubt, the best scrambled eggs I have ever tasted................ever!!!!

Wicklow seems to be the place to go. Glenmalure and Roundwood, thats two weekends sorted. Thanks.
