My scrambler project keeps getting held up by snags (failed exhaust thread is latest one), but I have had the bit of the exhaust made that will connect the y-piece to silencer, complete with mounts for a heatshield.

At this point I decided to do a visual experiment with two different sizes of "silencer" before actually investing in the real thing. The options were small (3in Pringles can) and large (two 4in Mini Cheddars cans taped together)

I thought the big one was going to look too big but as the rest of the system is a deliberately oversize visual feature of the bike, it doesn't.

I quite like both of them; what do you lot vote for?

In reality these might translate, respectively, to a GPR Deeptone, a universal Supertrapp can or maybe just a cheapo stainless cherry bomb type universal car silencer from demon tweeks

It'll need to have a 2in inlet if anyone has any suggestions, which rules out almost every type of cheapo universal classic bike silencer...

Mini chedders for me:thumb

without distracting yer too much
I would fit an oval one with twin outlets so to match the twin inlets :thumb
should look nice

Pringles every time. Mini chedders just too big for the bike.
