Best greasy spoon, Guildford

Not a bike meet up but in my opinion the best ever for a weekend morning fry. Was run by an Italian guy for more than 30 yrs - now taken over but still much the same - Guildford next to railway bridgge by the Surrey cricket ground

Last time I was in there the owner's daughter was about to get married and wedding plans were in full swing. Thought I was going to get an invite!

Isn't that the Woodbridge Cafe, Near where the old bids do the green bowling & on the same road as Andertons music shop & Guildford tyres?

If it's the same one, I used to ride down there with mates & nurse hangovers on Saturday mornings.Proper good breakfasts & a steaming cuppa. Top place.

Haven't been in for a few years but pass it all the time.

I'll have to call in and check it out again.

Yup - that's the Woodbridge Cafe, Woodbridge road. It's a legend. There was talk of closing it down a while back. Several councillors were strung from lamposts in the Hight St and their entrails mushed for chain lube. Another stupid idea seen off.

Only minus is that it's not very big and get's a bit packed at key times. A good fart generally frees up a table though.

yes its woodbridge cafe, used to be with skags mcc who used to meet up there, don't know if they still do, but when i used cafe was good food and drinks,
