Hi Folks,

Looking for some ideas ref; best used/tested larger aftermarket adjustable screen for my 2004 R1200 GS.

Any for sale?

the givi airflow was the worst screen ive ever had on a bike, I read all the reports on here and decided it was the one for me, yes you can ride around all day with your visor up but on the motorway etc it was useless, like a big sail stuck to the front of your bike and I got real bad buffeting and believe me I tried many different settings, I have a MRA vario now, it looks great and works for me, the givi might work for you :blagblah

I remember taking an Adventure for a test ride while trying to sort my 2005 GS years ago.. Didn't think it was much better, so went with a Givi solution, with a custom made extra bit that I could adjust.

When buying a GSA this Spring, i even ordered a Wunderlich screen extension because I "knew" that it would need it.. but I'm not feeling the need to put it on... not sure what's changed, but I'm liking the GSA screen and winglets.

I recently fitted one of THESE together with the winglets he also makes to my 2005 GS. I must say it's the best screen I've tried to date. These include Puig, MRA and the standard screen. No additional support bar was required and high speeds with visor up are perfectly possible with no blurring or buffetting. Highly recommended. I got a slight discount from the seller too. £100 for screen and winglets delivered. :thumb2

Well guys,
Fitted a Givi Screen and so far so good, what a difference from the OEM and it was only on the lowest setting.

But, sold my 2004GS and now picking up my 2011 30yrs in July :)

Trust me, this says a lot about my GS as I've never kept anything this long, let alone buy another one......
