Best restaurant/bar in Paris?

Jetting off to Paris tomorrow with my dearest for our silver wedding anniversary (never thought I'd ever say that) and want to go to the most romantic/best restaurant/bar in the city.

Specifically we'll be based on Rue De Vaugirard near the luxembourg gardens and montparnasse so anywhere near there would be great (or indeed anywhere within a 30 minute taxi ride).

I'm a great fan of Hemingway so part of the visit will be spent retracing Hemingway's life in Paris 1921-1926 and his friendship with Getrude Stein - already mapped out what looks to be some cracking walks

Is it really too much for you to simply select for yourselves a nice looking place with an appealing ambience and tempting menu (at the right price of course) ?

Certainly not, but someone else may have an excellent recommodation.

Most certainly staggeringly expensive, so you'd need to trade the bike in on it, and some cash probably ( lots of cash if its a 1200GS )
