well Jono,
I managed 500 miles last weekend on the r1150gs.
Fantastic
You can stop the bike on those brakes with one finger.
The bike was quieter allround, a vast improvement from the throttle bodies rattle to the fuelpump whine it had.
It was smoother through the gears ,and I felt it ran smoother and faster.
