2 years with the 1150GS and now almost the same with the 1200GS. Top box is essential for passenger - the 1200 is much more responsive. BUT it is a long way up to the pillion if your patrner is not too tall! But very comfortable once you are all aboard.

All joking apart - it's as difficult for people who are built as racing snakes to put AND keep weight on, as it is for the more generously proportioned to lose and keep it off...................not a lot of people know that :gosh

Sometimes it weren't fun being 6'2" and skinny as fcuk................biggest, ie tallest, man got to carry the gpmg

Been down to Maroc (again) already (why oh why oh why ) wif Jim. A few weekends hopefully and maybe a tour later in the year.
