Having had my ECU adjsuted by Off-The-Road, I found it more difficult to get very fine throttle control at small throttle openings e.g. when filtering between cars or riding slowly in town. Even tiny adjustments to the throttle angle would have the bike leaping about as mega power was applied by the engine, being worst in Sport mode obviously.
To tame this over-exhuberance, I bought a spare throttle tube (comes with the grip attached as well), and used a dremel tool to shave some of the plastic that the throttle cable runs over to reduce the diameter slightly. I now have a cam type of profile, smaller diameter at small throttle openings and back to normal from about halfway around the throttle travel area (which is about 1/4 of a turn).
The result is really good. Much more control at small throttle openings making the bike much easier to ride in sports mode. I still have all the advantages of the superb OTR remap, with better fine control. Overall throttle travel is slightly longer but still an easy handful. A nice, cheap tweak.
