BEVEL BOX knacked

Have had my GS1150 in for a service and the mechanic has discovered that the bevel box had previously been dismantled by a monkey. Subsequently the said monkey gave up trying to reassemble it and had a distantly related lesser primate put it back together whilst on acid. So basically it's f**cked and I'm stranded (yet again) without my beloved GS. This is the latest blow to my riding pleasure this year so anyone know of the whereabouts of a replacement, annoyingly I saw one on ebay a few weeks ago aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggghhh

have got one (non abs) cluttering up the garage. it does need rebuilding though but at least it intact and not beyond repair. PM me if this is of any use.

I have a non abs one in me garage, as far as I know its in good condition, its off a 1150r I think, so no attachment for the plastic things, got a few scratches, pm me for more details

Thanks very much but mine too is rebuildable for an eyewatering £350 yikes! so am looking for one in usable condition.

Mines an ABS model sadly but thanks for the offer I will scour the internet to try and source one before the mechanic kicks my bike out at weekend.

if you shop around you may pick one up second hand for 250+
but then you dont know its condition..... may be worth biting the bullet.

Motorworks had a new one going very cheap, (less than £200 I think), - it was advertised on EBay a couple of days ago - maybe for the 850 or 1100, (lower ratio therefore faster acceleration), - but check around on part numbers, (on line catalogues), - most are probably the same as they are used on K Bikes
