That shandy drinking, highly strung hairdresser, who rides a three wheeler and is known as Tarka will land on these shores on Friday morning for a few days touring about.

At the moment he plans to head north on Friday, then carry on up the Coast Road on Saturday and into Donegal on Sunday. If you are out and about keep an eye out for a Ural outfit holding up traffic, or meet up somewhere for a <s>laugh at the Ural</s> mug of tea. :)

I post this so that those who have heard the stories can avoid him .... or maybe even buy the lad a drink

A Tarka mug shot ;)

:D :D :D (apart from the ear ring.....)

It`s all true !!

I`ll be there on Friday...:aidan

Well......assuming the ferries can handle the gale force winds and snow that is forecast :( :(.

The fecking wind forcasted is faster than the 650 Ural flat out in top gear. :D

Joking apart,I`m really looking forward to visiting Ireland for my first time.
I`ve pondered and talked about it for years....at long last it`s happening.

Any advice or suggestions for accommodation near to Dun Laoghaire for my last night (Monday) would be muchly appreciated. :beerjug:

Hey Tarka

Hey Tarka...

I like the look of that outfit ... By chance I plan to roll off a ferry In Dun Laoghaire on the Sunday evening at 1930 and overnight in the area before heading South to Cork on the Monday... I realise this is one night too early for you but perchance you do find your self in the area on Sunday I am sure I can organise a bed for the night... I could be on a outfit myself by then!

Steve (Somclan) ... meet Steve (Tarka) :thumb2

The white house , the ward Dublin .
These folks have secure Parking , which unfortunately is a MUST in
the Southern Capital .

Its outside the City to the North on the "Old N2" .
Its clean , comfortable and not expensive , try and book ahead as a Lot of "transport" folk
frequent the establishment.
There is a Frequent Bus into the City and if you stay too late a taxi is Eur20.
Your about 40 Mins away from Dunlaoighre.

I am in Northern Donegal , and could guide ye along the north west coast if you like
Beware ,,the Koreans up Tuned ins neack a the woods

Does anybody know roughly where, or when, Tarka will be crossing the border into Donegal??????

Tarka and I will be riding the Antrim coast road on Saturday then probably heading for the ferry at Magilligan mid to late afternoon before stopping for the evening at either Culdaff or Carndonagh.

Sunday we will be doing a lap of Donegal and coming back by Enniskillen I think.

Will you be knocking about?
