i try but still yet to finish a rally ....... managed day one at the ryedale and first lap of the second day when i realised i had no brakes left ... not to mention i was totally knackered

he's only done the one rally and prior to that he'd only done about 50 miles on the machine ... so not doing too bad really. basically its a sponsored ride and as the xc isnt being made anymore ..... he's still got hte xc in the garage though i think its either got to back to clarkes or it will be sold

He's done the one event - the Ryedale and won it and after a weekend at the Keilder he was leading after the first day - this is with a stock bike out of the crate and this is with a shoulder injury.

I'd say he was doing great.

thanks for your help at the K2

I wonder if anyone is going to post the results of theweekend on line at all?
Shame to finish my first two day on the shire horse and not see how my specials times and overall stuff turned out!

I have ripped two spokes out and bent one badly in the rear wheel... oops
AND buckled my front wheel - think i know when it happened, jumping out of the ditch at the end of the special stage - I launched it properly
