Well yes. Known a few. I once went to a wedding reception at the Honda Owners Club......
Having had brain fade and belatedly realised the Bilbao ferry is tomorrow night I've been fettling the GSA for the trip south. All done.

Have done a few more miles now and pleasurably stunned by the way such an unlikely looking thing goes round corners.

So, I've been thinking. Are there big bore possibilities for the 1150 motor?
Has anyone fitted big fat carbs to simplify the whole plot?
Quite fancy a supercharger actually. Don't all laugh at once (oh alright then go on...). There have been blown boxers. Dunno where you'd put it though.

I was reading in the latest BMW club journal in an article on Scriminger engineering that they offer a carb conversion using bings from R100RS and an electronic ignition, apparently they go very nicely.

What I recall from my old R100 was the off idle stutter which afflicted, it usually when picking up the heavily loaded bike on the throttle whilst exiting hairpin bends in the mountains. The local BM dealer said, you've guessed it, they all do that sir.

Wonder why they didn't use slide Mikunis. Lovely carbs and cheap.
 
When I had an R100 I used to look at those Dellorto pumpers on a mates Guzzi with envy :drool :D
