Big champagne cork at roadside ? France.

A couple of years ago, presumably in the champagne region of France, I travelled for probably 50-60 miles on a lovely smallish road past several champagne houses which had a few Huge corks and giant bottles at the roadside.
It was north/south, swoopy and ....... Ive forgotten its number.

Now.. Im going through that particular area on the way to corsica this year and it would be nice to find it again.

I cant remember if its north or south of Reims, but its around that area.

Does it ring any bells with anybody ??

The champagne corks look like they are made out of wicker (or similar).

The road you're referring to could be the D443 from Magnant heading south to Bar-Sur-Seine and further south on the D453/D953 to Laignes. There are numerous Champagne houses along that route.

But I could be wrong.
