I Australia, Africa or the US where there are all sorts of animals wandering about at night I could see the reason for the Oscars but what do you have in the UK that warrants such lighting?

I have 5 inch lights on my GS, but they look like mini lights compared to those. I wonder if the Guys in the Space Station complain about being blinded by them.

But on a dark night, it's nice to have the road lit up.
