Big Tank / Small Ltrs?

Just filled up with unleaded at £0.94 per litre managed to spend £20.75p, now seeing as I rode into the garage (with 219 on the trip), this means my tank is over 22ltrs with no mods to the neck, how can this be? or do ya think the garage could be a bit dodgy on its equipment?

Sounds about right to me. I generally get about 21l in at 200 miles, today I've done 210 and will fill up tonight, I get about 10 miles per litre so 22l would be what I'm expecting.

Is it not a 20ltr tank?

The standard 20 l tank will take around 22 l if you fill it absolutely full. The extra space is needed for expansion a hot summer day.

Have they dropped the tank size for the 1200 then? Standard on the 1150 was 24l wasn't it?
