Got off the Eurotunnel yesterday and computer kept telling to check my oil, diverted to Coopers Tunbridge Wells, mechanic was on lunch but took my bike into the workshop, put half a litre of oil in while I had a hot chocolate (sadly lacking at Bahnstormers). When I tried to pay, this man wouldn't take any money.

Didn't get his or the mechanics name but thanks to them both.

Oh well......might as well be me......Did you check your bike over before you set off for foreign parts?.....tyre pressures, tread depth......oil?

Yes, checked everything, plenty of oil, bike never missed a beat before, lost the clutch on the first day, had to ride a day and a half before getting it fixed, checked oil every day so a bit freaky that it dropped so low on the last day!

Always serviced by BMW at the correct intervals, now on 46700 so not long till the next one.

The hot chocolate was good though.

Yes, I think bike is OK, not long till 48000 mile service either so if it isn't, it will be then!

It is indeed and I will always sing the praises of people who are good, usually we only get to hear about the bad ones.
