Got my elkskin gloves yesterday and tried it last night and this morning where temperatures was not seriously cold but bad enough for me. Now been using the HG classics and they worked fine except for my fingertips.
The aerostich gloves have eliminated that problem. Hands are still not warm but can at least feel my fingertips.
Think a pair of thin windstopper gloves combined with the elkskins will create a very happy meduim. This is money well spend and don't think I will be buying another set of gloves soon.
