Bigger Screen Options?

I have a 2010 1200 GSA that I love riding with my visor open but it gets a bit eye watering at 80+.

If I slouch down an inch or two, it's perfect from a wind point of view, just bloody uncomfortable after a couple of minutes!

What are my options to increase the height of the screen?

I have a touratech screen extension for my GSA which I got secondhand, a great bit of kit.

Visor up at high speeds with no dramas, it adds about 2" to the screen height.

You could fit a Ceebailey taller screen or there's the Givi AF 330 which is adjustable and the subject of a recent thread or you could try fitting a spoiler to your existing screen Hth

I've used the standard GSA screen and the 2" taller Wunderlich ADV screen. Both caused head vibrating turbulence even with Tobinators. The TT extension helped but the sweet spot is very narrow. It's also useless in rain because your visor steams up.
The Givi AF-330 mostly solves the turbulence and visor problems. It's not perfect against motorways traffic slipstreams but for that you'll need a car.
With bike screens bigger is not better.

Givi AF330 top notch never heard a bad review. Ive fitted one and at 6ft 2ins tall ive no buffeting at any speed Highly recommended

Try the MRA screen attachment to the standard screen. Used one for a few years....90mph, visor up and no buffeting....ever.

Ztechnik large touring screen for me. No buffeting and looks the part on the bike rather than an add-on.

I was seriously not impressed with the MRA screen on a Diversion 900 but it was a medium flip shape which never works on that bike. The spoiler on a sloped back screen should separate air flows and reduce turbulence. But the flip ruined any benefits.
The Givi does all that and is even better with tobinators. That said I think it would be even better if the top sliding part was wider.
The Z Technic looks worth a try because it curves the edges back towards the rider. The similar shape Wunderlich is better than OEM (Adv) but has less of a bubble shape so still turbulent.
It's a shame nobody has been able to do a proper real world comparative review.

The joy of corrective typing on the IPad. I meant the Xcreen, it has the benefit of not having to look through it or have a lump of metal in the eye line like the touratech screen extender. It is so good I have now got rid of the clamps and drilled the screen to permanently attach to the main screen.
