Bigger Screens and Comms

When out with the Mrs on the back of my 1250 GS I keep getting wind noise from her mic (it's in her helmet) I've tried all different settings on the pactalk bold but nothing seems to help.
So in preparation for a Portugal trip I want to invest in a bigger screen which I hope will sort the issue. It seems to come down to a Puig Touring or a GSA screen. I've done the searches but no one mentions the effect of these screens on pillions or comms. Any input welcome

I take it you’ve tried a chin curtain in her lid, and making sure her visor is closed when you are on comms?

Yes. We're wearing Neotec 2's. Only thing I haven't tried is using the sticky on mic instead of the boom mic.

As a daft question - have you got her mic the right way round ?
The sena mics are specific and need to be correctly positioned but im not sure that CArdo are the same but worth checking also worth chicking that it isnt dangling down into the wind or positioned directly behind a vent

You can also try adjusting the vox sensitivity ( again not sure if this is possible on cardo)

I doubt very much a larger screen will help but surprisingly a smaller on might as you lose the vortex and turbulent air behind the screen

I have a spare GSA screen (its actually a Kappa/Givi screen moulded on the OEM GSA screen), which you are welcome to try. I also have an MRA Vario Touring screen you could try. I find the MRA cuts down turbulence, but creates a bit more noise.
