Bike clothing dealers?

After ripping the knee out of leather trousers on Sunday,

I want to buy a pair of thick heavy duty textile/Cordura trousers.

Taking the afternoon off work & planning to head to Newbury to visit J&S, then head off to Southampton to go to both Hein Gericke & Infinity.

Any other outlets on the way south I could try?

Any recommendations on gear worth buying or stuff to avoid for that matter?

There's a J&S in Watford, a Hein-Gericke in Slough and an Infinity at Hanger Lane - could always stop off at the Ace...........

Depends on how much you want to define "south"

Hideout Leather in Saffron Walden are very good, well established won't try to sell you cr*p you don't want and they do made-to-measure and alterations too.

Infinity at Northcamp Farnborough (i.e. the old Riossi / Motorcycle City store) have a great range. Not far from M3 J4.
