I need to get a cover for my 1200 GS TE, any recommendations?
Cheers:beerjug:

Outside all weather, winter or just a cover to protect from the eyes......

A very good question. I have a garage at the back of my house and it opens up in to a service lane. and from the back its looks like a stone built garage. The sides are timber and attached to the neighbors stone walls but it doesn't have a wall on the garden side yet. So I want to protect from prying eyes as well as the rain as the 'missing' wall is SW facing and that's the general direction the salty rain comes from down in the 'Muff.

I had a DS covers alfa cover that I just sold on the forum that was super good quality. Felt like bike jacket material, nice and thick, soft lining, heat shield by the exhaust, vents at the top. Would highly reccomend.

Then one below is a good start not the cheapest, but if you buy the 25 quid ones, you will end up buying 10 before this one rots, as the cheap ones left in the Sun, fall to bits.

What size did you have for the GS?

As mr Bean I’ve had an Oxford storm cover three years it’s been the best I live 500 mtrs from North Sea and its great for wind and rain protection. Got a good deal up Westgate road

All great suggestions and I think it seems to be down what you like the look of. Definitely the £15-20 ones are out and it would seem I’m going to be paying north of £60.
Cheers guys:beerjug:

A very nice man, rhun91, has sold me his now redundant Wunderlich cover. So I should be able to keep the bike free from the prying eyes of the local crims, perps and ne’er-do-wells and keep the soft Devon rain off my awesome steed.

Another here for Wunderlich. I’v had mine for 4 years, and it’s stood up to monsoon rains, and blistering temperature of 40 c. The outer shell is just showing signs of cracking in a couple of places.

The bike lives outside all year round. Definitely recommend.

I've used the Oxford Stormex for around a year and been happy.

Not sure how it compares with others though.

Probably badly - just noticed a few of the tapes peeling away.
