Hey guys, please be kind, I'm trying to type this with both arms bust and in plaster.

I was unfortunately to go over a blind crest near Hawes last sunday to find a car doing a 3 point turn. The rest you can probably guess.

Anyway, ive got the bike back to my workshop, and there's only one destination for it. The front wheel has punched a whole in the front cover, the forks are ripped out of the top yoke etc etc.

The bike was a 3000 mile 21 plate when i bought it in march. It got me out of the running in boredom, first service cost and was about £3k less than new with a akro can as well, condition was pristine.

Anyway, when i get to the point of sourcing the next one, i would really like a gsa trophy, but with led light pack and heated seats. Does this bike exist? Or are all the trophy's affected by the either or scenario?

Stu

And I thought I had a bad day today.
That bike does exist as mine got a puncture in the middle of nowhere in the Pyrenees today and I waited 7 hours for recovery and it rained for about 3 of them.
We have stories to tell.

Sorry to hear that Stu, really hope you get well soon.
i avoid that area at weekends due to seeing too many near misses and idiots in cars.
not sure about the trophy, but at least you can take your time and choose a good one.
good luck

I have a 22 GSA Trophy with the LED headlight, supplied new in February this year, but, it didn't come with the heated seats, but that may have changed now.

Get well soon!

Spot on ^

We live in Leyburn and hear them screaming through Wensleydale as soon as the sun shines. So we pick when (and where) we ride very carefully. My current job can have me driving on the A684 between Leyburn and Hawes up to ten times in a day, and it’s shocking how much bad, almost suicidal riding you see.

Hope your injuries heal quickly and well OP (y)

I also have a brand new trophy .6 weeks old and it does have led lights but I was told no heated seats .also the headed grips are just on the rhs button only now.no use of wonder wizz wheel .so it's either off or setting 1 or 2 that's it now.

Mine is a 2021 Trophy GS , with heated seats and now finally a LED headlight

Heated seats has always been an option not included as standard even on TE spec bikes so whether a bike has them or not depends on what was ordered when new (the recent omission due to chip shortages notwithstanding...)
BTW, why does a heated seat rely on a silicon chip or even any electronics to control it? its just a heating element and could be made to work with just a bit of extra wiring and maybe a relay...........

Chip shortage, ordered mine with heated seats, voucher for the headlight, just redeemed the voucher and got the headlight fitted almost a year after a purchase

Joking apart, get well soon. I hate riding around the Dales during summer holiday period, it’s full of numpties on the roads and it’s got worse since Covid with people doing staycations😡

Cheers for the responses guys, I'm in for double surgery on Thursday.

So i guess I'm looking for a my 22 if i want both, as i buy my bikes and dont want a new one.

I might get lucky with my timing, by the time I'm fit and ready, we'll be just about at the bottom of the buying season and prices might ease back a bit.

If anyone knows of a low mileage pristine trophy coming available please let me know.

Stu
