Bike insurance- who’s good or bad at moment?

Just renewed with Bennett’s again. They knocked £50 off after getting other cheaper quotes. But after checking add ons there wasn’t much in it. So all done for another year.

TBH for the past 2 years of have gone through Motorrad and the insurer is Ageas
They infact have been the cheapest with the lowest excess and all things like leathers, helmet cover included..

With insurance is not all one fits all..

They consider so many factors

I’m sticking with BMW Motorrad this year. Premium has dropped & I’ve spent a fair time this weekend online getting quotes that have been anything from the same to several hundred £s more.
I was with Carole Nash for my 22my GS & R18 but last year when I changed the GS for an RT they wouldn’t cover the RT for some reason so I went with BMW. This year CN wanted £1073 for both bikes-£450 more than BMW.

I find this rather amusing as the BMW scheme is outsourced to the same organisation that owns the Carole Nash brokerage

"BMW Motorrad Bike Insurance is arranged by Atlanta Insurance Intermediaries Limited"
"In 2017 Carole Nash was bought by Atlanta Group"

All part of the Markerstudy Cuntocracy

I’ll never understand how insurance companies work!
I like the Spanish method of insuring the vehicle & not the person. So much easier though I’ve no idea of cost.
