Any advice as to what's available at the mo?
(I want to get a decent one).
Couldn't find a thread on the subject but if there is one perhaps somebody could point me in the right direction.

I want something that you can ride or push the bike onto and then lift up to working height. I.e. not simply an 'under sump' hydraulic lift. But, once at working height it would be great if the bike wheels could then be made airborne with a sump type lifter. If I can get a really good lifter to do both (price not the issue) then great, if not I'll look at incorporating a secondary sump lift into a decent full bike lift if that makes sense.

I recently bought a CLARKE 450 kg workbench from Machine Mart via their web site, @ £370 delivered.
Reasonable quality and more than capable of managing an 1150 GS
Most of the benches on offer at the minute (apart from the pro one) appear to be from the same far eastern manufacturer, CLARKE /SEALEY etc and they are more than up to DIY and Semi professional use.

Anybody got the 'Big Blue Eazy Rider' thingy? I know it goes against what I said above but, having googled it today it seems to achieve most things including getting the bike up to a decent height.

I've got a ride on full length bike lift in the garage I want rid of. It is a 'post and cable' type but can lift my R1100S high up with no problems and has saftey catches so as you can remove the post and cable when you're working. Jason
