This months bike magazine collected all the Bikes of the Year from the 70's to date and tested them all back to back. Best bike for the last 40 years???? You guessed it the 1200 GS. Which was nice Well worth a read.

there is general expectation of perfection here from some, - you are expected to live your life whilst reading every single thread and of course memorise them! Or at least do a search before posting a new thread, heaven forbid that you have the intention of passing on some news that they already know!

In all honesty I can't see how you can possibly keep track of all the threads, and all the posts, that have come before....unless you're glued to the site 24/7...

It's funny that with all the posts, all the threads, that's the only guidance I need on the subject .....what BMW and the dealer recommend I use...simple.

Common sense - if something is printed in a mainstream motorcycle magazine about a GS the probability is it may have already been posted, several times.

Imagine, 10,000 gsers all posting the same news.

you carry on mate, we dont all get the mags every month, nice to know, i'd rather read posts like yours than some of the negative ones that occur now and then
