One for RAM-mykins maybe?

It is generally understood that a PMR radio likes to be upright for optimum RX/TX operation and an obvious place to perhaps put it is on the handlebars. Anyone got any useful tips for what works for you, pics would help to.

If it helps I use Kenwood TK3101 & Icom F22SR radios powered via the dedicated Autocom leads by my Pro7 Sport and I use the PTT switch.

And as a bonus if it uses any of the increasing collection of RAM parts I have amassed that'll be just fine and dandy :thumb

Andy,

I do not have anything dedicated but the last time a biker shoved one under my nose I looked at the RAM-HOL-UN1 and UN2 cradles, the -UN1 worked fine and held.

Possible (loose term used here ..) options, RAM-HOL-BC1 and RAM-B-120B.

Otherwise, next time your *trusty steed* ventures out from Sidcup Valley then call in, I shall see what can hold it, then share the knowledge with other's later.

I have a TT handlebar pouch which takes my MP3 player and my PMR radio. The radio is run through the Starcom on vox and I place it into the pouch with the aerial held in the vertical position by the zip closure. Below is a photo of the TT pouch fitted:
