Bike nicked today

That's a bad start to the year. What a pisser.

Still, no luck will come of it for the scumbag. There's every chance he breaks his neck off it.

It sounds crap but you're OK, you have another bike and can replace the DRZ. He's got a bike he didn't deserve but he's still a scumbag.

If you haven't done it already, it'd be worth posting pictures of it here and on the other Irish forums (IBF and biker.ie at least). Sooner or later someone will spot it and can alert the Guards. :mcgun

Thinkin bout ye

I must say how sorry i feel that anyone has to endure this . This is the bottom of the barrell.
Personally i Keep on thinkin bout this ,
Probably too much time on mey hans , i know.
I was wonderin what my reaction would be , and i know i would have ended
up in trouble , either in a personal capacity , or on the accountability end ,
If you know what i mean.

Thinkin out loud again

What can we say :(

It is a sick old world at times for sure, hopefully things can only improve for you from here on in, this new year.

Toe rags

Jaysus Paul sorry to hear about the bike, glad that you are ok though. Is that a regular thing in Dublin now,Knife point hi-jacking?

incredible - on any level.
i'm furious / you must be absolutely livid!

one or many scumbags?
how the f*ck did they get you off the Bike?!
what reaction from the Gards?

little use to you but; my sympathy.

That's sh!te Padge, most important thing is that you're ok..

Hope it makes it's way back to you.. I'd imagine they won't hang onto it for long because of the way the took it.. So it'd have a look about the kinda places where you see the little skangers riding them you might be lucky.

I had my car stolen at gunpoint in 2002.

Luckily the guy got caught and jailed for 10 years with a minimum 7 years before release, so if they catch your boy he'll get a good stiff one.

My point is though, look at people close to you. My robber was my regular taxi driver. He knew what where etc. Your bike must have aroused attention. Posties, milkmen, window cleaners etc. Sorry to bring them into this but just a thought.......

That is pain in the arse, just getting a bike nicked is bad enough let alone the possible assault issues.

Still, on the bright side if thats the standard exhaust on an E model, you'll be able to hear it a couple of miles away:augie

Mine was so noisy when i picked the bike up new, it made me jump when i first started it:o

fyi

mentioned this to Mrs Og.
she has heard of 5 or 6 Bikes taken this way in Finglas.
one was a woman rider the rest were men.
some of the gents were, like Padge, not shall we say "of small stature".
no option but to hand over the Bike, due to a mob approach.

one found out where the Bike was and went along with "assistants" to recover it.
they did - but not without getting stoned by the offenders and the Bike only saved because the skanger trying to set light to it couldn't get his lighter to work!

the only thing that will stop this is the local community taking a hand in it.
- no offence to Finglas residents - i know - often this is done by "visitors" / not residents of the area the crime is commited.

If this has happened before in Finglas and been reported to gardai then Padge should call the sinn fein "councillor" for the area. My experience is that he will have more chance of getting it back for you than the other chanels.

This is not an endorsement of any political party or a sign of my voting patern  just experience.

he,s probably the one riding it around :hide

No but his "canvassers" on the ground will be able to find the scrot who took it very quickly.

I take it from the various comments on this thread that Sinn Fein are a little more 'hands on' than most other political parties?

Does it work?

Retribution?

Whats the latest news Paul? Is there any chance of getting it back or maybe getting a little retribution in?
