Work have kindly supplied me with a HP 6515, Otterbox and TT Europe maps. :clap

I will mount the Otterbox using appropriate RAM components. I would like to bike power the PDA without using a tradition car cigarette lead to keep the wiring as neat and tidy as possible.

I assume I need some kind of voltage regulator/smoother to drop the voltage from 12V+ down to 5V 2A. I will power this from a small aux fuse panel which is connected via a relay to the battery.

Any smart suggestions for a suitable volatge regulator? :nenau

Monkey, Blowzorn did similar a few months back and posted in gps info. He got his ipaq squeezed into the RAM aquabox2. The RAM aquabox 1 is being made and should ship be end of March, its 1" wider & longer than AQ2 version.

Thanks Steve I did consider that. The advantage of the Otter box over any alternatives is it has keyboard buttons in the right place for the 6515.
