In Salisbury, you are probably closer to CW in Dorchester. If you don't want the dealer network, Steptoe (A303 / M25 / A3). For a small service, stay in London and have a nice walk around Wimbledon village or something. For a Major service, Neil will offer an erm... period BMW that will take you home and back the next day.

I recently used Stroud motorcycle company, top blokes and far better than NOG where the bike was supposedly serviced before. Also Studleys in Dorchester seem to have a good reputation.

You really have to go some to beat CW in Dorchester, Bahnstormer and North Oxford are similar distances but CW go above and beyond.

I don't know Stroud mc, but they are not any closer.
