Big Michael who was the head technician at Bishopbriggs Motorrad is now working at MCS Renfrew. If you book your bike in and ask specifically for him to service it you will get a proper BMW service for about half the price. Book will be stamped too.
He's a bloody good mechanic. Knows beemers inside out.
