Bike show in RDS this weekend

The barriers are designed to snap off. I have reason to know. Large blue light escort company vechicle (truck) not allowed to stop because of passenger. 4 vechicles for 1 guy. Wee are booting down the motorway standard procedure is to open barriers which they did. Just as I’m going trough barrier comes down. SMACK and the barrier goes flying. Not a mark on the truck. That followed me for a while. Some good natured slagging. JJH

Is there a cloakroom or ant type of locker storage for your riding gear........don't fancy carrying it around and I ain't putting the panniers on the bike going into Dublin.

I went looking to pick up some gloves and boots (and maybe even pay for them) instead I ended up getting a jacket and trousers. I used the jacket coming home as the old one wasn't waterproof. I should have changed and put on the new trousers as we had some typical oirish weather on the way home and I discovered that my waterproof leggings weren't very waterproof.
For me it was worth it for the gear that I got but other than that there was no much new or different.

Great show as always, I drove luckily. Heavy snow and 0 degrees on the way home up until the Shannon.
Best bikes, the delish HP 1250 ADV, the 1260 Multi Enduro but way too tall.
The 950 Multi is probably the sensible option and plenty capable. Niken would be fun and usable.
The Triumph adventure looks well made but it is tall with a real sit on top riding position.

Funny I thought the 1260 was a bike that suited my height and weight! I sat on the baby Bmw and the suspension just sank to the floor! I sat on the super ten. That saddle is super roomy. I liked it but I’d need risers for the bars. Surprisingly forward and down. I enjoyed the show. And dare I say it but what an amazing subsection of regional accents. Some proper bonkers accents. Available in one town only stuff. Ahem.

The funny thing about the RDS show is guys walk up and say "hi Pat" and i have a 10 min conversation with them. when they move on i ask Mary, who was that bloke.
I am terrible for remembering faces.
