Yes, parking for bikes is Free, £3 for cars.

Show was okay for me as I was looking for stuff for our Europe trip. I was after a helmet and got a TourX3 for £300, some decent ear protection and earphones (not the £15 DIY stuff which I had been using), free custom ear plugs, a lightweight rain jacket, registered for a Bikesafe course and a Bacon roll (it was the only thing that wasn't a bargain. Oh, and maybe won a bike in the MCN competition :augie Alright value for £10 (advance MCN show Ticket)

Caught up with folk I knew on the BMW, Ducati, Knockhill and Touratech stands. Sat on a few bikes including the Ducati Mutistrada but happy to climb back on my GS for the run home.

Cheers Andy...I passed loads on my way back from Hockey...they must have thought i had bought a new wooden arial as i had my stick poking out of my rucksack...very aerodynamic...

Not been for a few years so thought I would go.
Should have left it a bit longer.

We went on Saturday morning first thing. Glad I had preordered tickets because there was already a substantial queue just after nine. I was back out by 11:30..... Granted I wasn't particularly looking to buy anything , but is it getting smaller every year - or is it my imagination? I didn't think there was much in the smaller lowland hall, if you are not interested in classics that is and some manufacturers were missing that have been there before e.g., KTM usually have a big stand.

However, confrmed that -

1. I don't want a sports bike
2. That new Multistrada is (too) small.....
3. There are an awful lot of people selling absolute tat under the guise of motorcycle gear.....

Yes, I'll probably go next year..... :D

+1 thats no a bad summary !!!

So I went...it was ok...Booked a service at the BMW stand...Notice the touratech stall...they had disguised a BMW as a touratech farkle fest...I stared at it for some time and then found the bike??? Some very unattractive ladies (in the vagueist terms) wearing crop tops exposing jelly bellies hanging around ugly bikes in an effort to make them selves look less ugly (no i am not bitter they really were munters)...tat tatstic stalls selling wit such as yellow vest stating Sex Instructor..mmm tacky. Went outside to watch dangerous riding skills...rider fell off ...not impressed.

Back indoors found the soft luggae stand...left my wallet as collateral and ran off with their tank bag conversion thingy to the BMW stand where i pursuaded a young man to allow me to attack the 650GS in an effort to fit same to the tank...it went ok right up until the Touratech guy got involved and then tried to sell me a much nicer tank bag...Back to soft luggae stand with fake smile and promise to return...went for coffee and debated purchae of tank converter or tank bag...mmmmm'd and hawed too long...went to buff stand ..bought the windstopper neck tube and material snood thing and got a free dog buff for Abe (along with a million stickers). Tried to buy trousers found they didn't have a single pair of ladies trusers in the place...what pish. Thought id check out the bike comms and GPS stalls...there wern't any...mmm

Then went home..

It was ok but parts felt a bit like the barras....too much tat.:aidan

I went yesterday, nice day for it. The show was same as ever, but the 'Wall of death' was great well worth seeing,I liked the mad custom bikes too, wouldn't want to own one but they are impressive. I didn't buy anything, apart from an icecream, but I'll go again next year.:P

I went for a wander round the KTM dealership in Perth yesterday, bought a few bits, had a nice lunch, wandered round Two Wheels today, said hello to some folks I know, I reckon I'm a ticket price up on some of you......:D
