Bikesorce had trouble with her landlord trying to get a big hike in rent on a new lease, she told him where to go and shut up shop.

VD certainly stock Shoei helmets.

Best to stay away from Weegieville unless absolutely necessary Gordon. If you're going to be anywhere near the correct side of the country go and see the friendly and helpful folks at www.forthgear.co.uk and tell them I recommended them.

Phone any number in Glasgow. Everyone knows someone called Big Shoei :thumb

Thanks for the suggestions.
I sent Shoei uk an email asking them what I should do. Mike I’m in Weegieville every week just now, my dad isn’t keeping very well, so may just call into HG.
The show would have been a good option as I’m down that way (ish) next weekend but Shoei are not listed as an exhibitor.:nenau
As a temporary measure Ill just tuck the strap back on itself or superglue the clip back in place.
Ronno, :blast :D

Weegievile....now now chaps hat's not a very nice way to speak aout the bestest city in our land........best you stay in the east were it's safe, you wouldn't want to run the risk of having some mental Glesga ned kicking yer melt in and taking yer bike aff ye........:)

Was down again the day, saw the tat shop,:( left my helmet with the guys at HG. They reckon £25/30 to get the chin strap replaced.
Also left my busted Blackberry at the corner shop along the road when I called in for a bottle of Iron Bru, in hindsight, that might have been a mistake. :eek

Boab, weagieville is a term of endearment, you are a weegie n you live there?

Reply today from Feridax, Shoei uk importer.

Hello Gordon,
Thank you for your e-mail. Yes it is possible to fit a new chin strap clip but it is not possible to replace the actual strap. This is because it is fixed & the point of manufacture before being submitted for safety tests. You can purchase a new chin strap clip from your local Shoei Assured centre. You can find details on your local stores using the dealer locator at www.shoeiassured.co.uk. If you have any problems please ask the store to contact Feridax.
