Fellow GS'ers.
Looks like I am going to have to move to the good 'ol USA in the summer for a few years. :D

BUT, I am the proud owner of a shiny new 1200GS LC and am rather reluctant to sell on after only 12 months or so of ownership.:blast

Anyone know of good long term storage options for bikes? I have seen Southern car Storage has options from £10 a month. Anyone else know of options???

Cheers.:thumb

You don't want to store it with all the problems it'll cause.

I'll ride it for the year for you free of charge if you like. Keep the old running in going :thumb2

Import it and use it?, might work out cheaper than storage, less worry, and you get to use it?!!!

Moving for several years.

Sell it. It won't appreciate whilst you are away and will only cost you money to store. Why pay to store an unused depreciating asset?

Alternatively, look at importing it into the US. But that assumes that your several years away in America will lend themselves to motorcycle ownership. Only you know the answer to that.

You'll lose less in the hit selling it now than the depreciation over the next couple of years ..... SELL IT! :thumb2

Your heart is ruling your head. Turn the other way round and SELL IT. It is the only sensible option I think :)
