Bike tax paid again... I really must try and get some decent use out of my poor bike this year.

5k miles in three years is nothing short of pathetic..

I know - taxed mine at beginning of March, but haven't summoned up the will to get it out yet

You're both pathetic.
I only taxed mine last week & have already racked up 24 miles going to the local garden centre & back.

;)

Managed 6k miles last year, mostly to Austria, but some good runs north and west. Hope to do the same again. Taxed and ready to go, just need some weather now....-4 last night, sleet this am, warmer and some rain to wash salt off and away we go!

Last year was a non starter for me. Wully, who does MOT`s in Oban now?
I'm reluctant to use Stoddarts, Keil used to do mine.

Need an MOT, ran out last month, just waiting for the weather as well. Should be fine in a week or two but still too much risk of snow just now

Garage in Dulnain Bridge does them, other direction but still a fine road as you know

Ben Nevis Motors Ltd?

According to my info Ben Nevis Motors in North Road, Fort Bill do motorcycle MOT's:confused: - this information may, of course, be a load of bollocks:thumb

Dunno...I get mine done during the annual service..

Plan 'A' for this year ( pie in the sky dream probably) is to ride to work then leave the bike in a secure car park in Copenhagen for two weeks then ride a loop round the Baltic...one guy at work has done this trip on a Harley in two weeks.

Thats a good 4 years out of date G Benderloch was closest, Ill give Dulnain Bridge a call. Cheers

My bike is serviced with new tyres fitted. Just need MOT and I'm good to go. I've decided that if I don't do more miles this year than the last few (my last trip was Ullapool nearly years ago!), I'm selling her. Mind you, I might be selling her anyway. The threat of redundancy looms large :(

Thought that might be the case - nice run to Dulnain Bridge though:thumb - if the weather good!

Maybe we should all get our arses in gear and have a run round the top and back down again?

Not in March though Gerry.

Late May / early June.

Bike, tent, cairy Oot.

Dates TBC depending on work rota - while we still have them?

This was recently brought to my attention. I quite fancy it in some form.

Sounds good but not the Blackloonies weekend although I've forgotten when the proposed date for this is. Maybe Gerry can advise?

C'mon guys ... get yer fingers out

One and a half thousand miles round the Emerald Isle this last week :JB

Had a few decent runs this year but first trip away this weekend - camping Friday and Saturday in Argyll - weather forecast looking reasonable - so hoping for the best.
