With half an eye on the weather, I plan to run a bike in over two days of next weekend.

To make life easy I will use the same route (assuming I can remember where it goes) as I used three years ago to run in another one in two days. It's either that or go to France for the weekend, which has some merit.

Anyway, I think it will be Essex, Suffolk, Cambs and (maybe a bit of Beds) and back to Essex'ish sort of way. Anyone who fancies coming along be at Tesco's Miami roundabout store in Chelmsford at 09:00 for a 09:30 departure. Full tank of fuel when rolling off, please.

Needless to say, despite starting out from central London, it will still be a reasonably big mileage, just to get it all done in the two day hit. Tea stops, lunch etc..... Somewhere or other.

PS If it's freezing, snowing or coming down as would please Noah, I ain't going. Six hundred miles can wait if needs be. A day like today or yesterday, perfect :thumb2 I suggest a sensible review of the fir conee and seaweed on say Thursday.

PPS Remember to set the recorder for the rugby.

First we get numerous threads about folks who are going to collect their new water cooled WC for short; (a true LC was built by Yamaha & it was a 2 stroke); then we get threads of folk posting shite photos of them once they have been collected; then we get threads from folk who don't give a toss about those that have 4,3,2 more sleeps to go and now we get a thread about somebody who is going to "run their feckin' bike in" on the weekend of 9th & 10th of March.

In the name o' the wee man, whatever will be next? :nenau :D

It's a long way from Leicester to Chelmsford. But you are welcome to tag along if you like. Here's a map....

yes - I can see you wouldn't want the supermoto land that is the kent marsh. There are some corking A roads down here though (google map Jurys gap road from lydd to Rye for example ..), if you want 150 miles of stuff like that then i can arrange it ... :thumb2
