Bike transport 20 miles Winchester

Does anyone know anyone who can transport a non-running BMW R100RS about 20 miles from one side of Winchester to the other - I have tried searching locally but all I am getting is one man and a van and lifting an airhead into a van will not be easy so I would prefer to have it put on a bike trailer.

Of course I'm happy to pay the going rate

It's probably cheaper to hire a luton van with a tail lift and move it that way.

Is the bike complete as in still has the upper fairing/screen attached?

It's complete but it has been stood for 20 years so the front brake may be locked - the bike is stored in a friends barn, he now needs the bike moving

Luton van with a tail lift looks a good idea, but I am in my late 70's with a "bad" back

Before you get much older, have a look at all the posts and threads on bike couriers. There was one as recent as last week. But, in case you forget, the one that always comes out tops, is AtoB or A2B or whatever it’s called.
