Anybody ever use a transport company to move bike from UK to Ireland?
Any recommendations?

Got biketrans from cork a couple of times sound guy worth checking too.
A lot of the couriers would be bringing bikes from Ireland to England now so work pricing both sides of the pond

Biketrans. This guy only transports bikes, its his full time job. Very professional, no messing. He collected my K1 at exactly the time he said he would arrive at. Arrived in a really big properly converted van with a built in ramp at the rear. Plenty of tie downs and quilts to cosset the bike. Cost was £300 ish from Dublin to very south of England.

He also has a really big enclosed trailer for moving up to 30 bikes. Currently taking bookings for the Harley event in Rome next year.

Biketrans

+1 on Biketrans. Prompt Professional service. He picked up a boxercup in cornwall for me a few years ago and was reasonable enough.

I have used Bike trans on several occasions . I would recommend him.
The Last few Bikes i brought over from the UK to Irl , I had them put onto
a suitable pallet , available at any main dealers free .. This saved me a
lot of money . I used Countrywide freight , £140 Essex to Donegal ..
Cant see any of the Bike transporters even coming close to that..

Many Thanks for the advice, will check them out now.
Just bought a old Bonneville to give me a bit more to do over the winter months (probably for the next few years!)
